Day Walk in Rutland

For a 10am start
Meet near the Horse and Jockey Pub in Manton.
2 St Mary's Road, Manton, Oakham,
LE15 8SU.
(Manton is just off the A6003, Oakham to Uppingham).
Bring Lunch.

Route
West past Martinthorpe Lodge to Brooke village, Egleton and back to Manton.

NOTE:
The church at Brooke is where ‘Pride and Prejudice’ was filmed.
If you want to look round the church, which is carpeted, please bring poly bags to fit over boots.

Terrain
Green Lanes, back road and shared cycle track.
No ploughed fields or stiles.
